Use Cases

In addition to perfoming normal comments searching on a given video, the extension supports advanced search modes as explained with examples below.

Custom Search: This mode is supported on selected videos and allows you to list comments using special keywords, for example:

• : shows comments with timestamps (0:37)
• :all shows all comments.
• :link shows comments with links.
• :reply shows comments with replies.
• :creator shows comments by the uploader.
• 0:00-0:19 shows comments within time range.

Global Search: With global mode you can search comments on the entire channel, for example:

• global: abc will search for abc on all videos uploaded to the channel.

RegExp Search: For advanced users, you can perfom search using native regular expression, for example:

• /.{0,30}/ will show comments up to 30 characters long.
